Vivian Tsai, Registered Social Worker
Vivian Tsai (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker with the British Columbia College of Social Workers (#11399) and holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She provides both in-person and virtual counselling services to individuals, couples, and families. With specialized training, and extensive experience, in both the private and public sectors, Vivian supports clients facing a variety of life challenges, including healing from past trauma. She is able to provide counselling in both English and Mandarin.
Vivian employs evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. Vivian is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Her practice is grounded in delivering personalized, respectful, and client-centered care.
Clients often come to Vivian seeking support for challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. They typically look for more than immediate relief; they want to gain deeper insight into themselves and their situations, and develop lasting skills to build resilience and navigate life’s complexities with greater confidence. Vivian is dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment, meeting clients where they are and guiding them through their individual healing journeys.
Outside of work, Vivian is a devoted dog mom to two long-haired Chihuahuas and a miniature poodle.
