Gina (she/her/hers) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BCACC (#18129) and holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology. She has extensive counselling experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and older adults in areas such as depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, fostering healthy relationships, communication, transitions, chronic health conditions and pain management.

Gina believes in working collaboratively with her clients.  She is able to incorporate several counselling techniques and strategies during sessions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Somatic approaches as well as Strength-Based approaches. Working collaboratively with one another, she is committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental environment.

Gina has over 15 years of experience working with children, youth at risk, and families who have been affected by physical and psychological disabilities, abuse, addiction, and mental health. She also works with clients who have ADHD and neurodivergence. She has completed internships through Vancouver Coastal Health in Concurrent Disorders and has sought opportunities to learn other means of working collaboratively in community.  With an open heart and an authentic manner, she is committed to working with people who feel a loss of belonging or connection. 

Gina continues to further her education and experience through the Doctor of Social Sciences from Royal Roads University. She has completed several certificates and diplomas in areas such as Classroom and Community Support through Douglas College and Professional Counselling through Vancouver College of Counsellor Training.
